CMRG and Pueblo ARC Repeaters Linked

CMRG Members and Friends,

I have some extremely GREAT news to share with you. This afternoon, the link connecting the CMRG and Pueblo Amateur Radio Club repeaters was completed. The following repeaters are now linked:

147.345 in Colorado Springs (Cheyenne Mountain)
145.295 in Salida (Fremont Peak/Methodist Mountain)
147.360 in Lake George (Badger Mountain)
146.790 in Pueblo (Baculite Mesa)

With this linking, continuous communications is possible from south of Walsenburg on the south to the Collegiate Peaks and Hwy 285 on the west, to Leadville, Como, Grant, Bailey, Pine, Deckers, Castle Rock, and Limon on the North, and down Hwy 71 from Limon to Rocky Ford. This ties together the cities of Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Walsenburg, Alamosa, Salida, Buena Vista, Limon, Rocky Ford, and many more. This link has been a dream of CMRG for many, many years and has been made possible by the Pueblo Amateur Radio Club the use of their Baculite Mesa site. Many thanks to them.

Feel free to use the repeaters and meet lots of new friends.

Special thanks to Dave, WA6IFI and Mike, K0HYT for completing the final work on Cheyenne Mountain.
